A presentation in Session 18: Fish*Forms*Functions: The importance and societal role of aquatic resources in prehistoric societies. As the title states, it was focused on investigating what archaeological evidence is able to tell us or not tell us about life as a Hunter-Gatherer-Fisher in a lacustrine world at Mesolithic Lake Onega - in contrast to what we know about perception of death as shown at the famous burial site of Yuzhniy Oleniy Ostrov.
