Director of the European PhD-Net in Philosophy. The European Ph.D. -Network in Philosophy is a joint scholarly program aimed at promoting the scientific quality and the internationalization of doctoral education, as well as providing doctoral students enhanced career possibilities. The participants of this network are the University of Bergen, Bielefeld University, University of Bologna, University of Bucharest, University of Helsinki, and Uppsala University. The Net is focused on core areas in theoretical philosophy (Philosophy of Science, Epistemology, Metaphysics, Philosophical Logic and Philosophy of Logic, Mathematics and Language, Philosophy of Mind, and Meta-ethics.)
The educational aims of the Net are: To provide joint supervision within its international network and to award a Diploma Supplement under the Agreement on Educational Cooperation signed by all six participating universities. The main activity of the Net consists of the working seminars, which take place twice a year, each time in one of the universities belonging to the Net. The maximum number of students to be admitted to the Net is 15 and is equally distributed among the partner institutions. The first 3 years cycle was during the period 2015 (autumn)-2018 (spring). In the autumn of 2018 we started the second cycle which will run for 3 years.
