In this presentation, we explored the Forum Play method in the session “Co-producing knowledge for research-based Education for Sustainability (EfS) in Higher Education”. We introduced how Forum Play can be an emancipatory tool for Transformative learning, considering the early influences to transformative learning, our definition based on Mezirow's work and the framework of steps towards it. Then we explored how we applied Forum Play in our workshops, what kind of data we are collecting, when and how, and what reflections followed from the workshops. We conducted a warm-up activity and then we built two macro-topics with sub-questions for the guided discussion, that brought fruitful conversations with the other participants on whether they were willing to apply this methodology to their research/teaching.
