Description

40 000 EUR as an incentive money granted by the Rector of the University of Helsinki. This is the share of H. Seppä of the total support of 125 000 EUR for the group that submitted a project application “Finnish Centre of Excellence in Quantitative Palaeoecological Research (FINPAL) in the last (2007) centre of excellence application round by the Academy of Finland. Although not appointed as a centre of excellence, FINPAL was among the 28 groups (out of the 113 groups) that reached the final application round and was rated “outstanding” by all three external reviewers. H. Seppä was the assistant leader of the FINPAL application
