Ad hoc group on drafting a "Strategic Initiative on the Human Dimension in Integrated Ecosystem Assessments"
In its strategic plan for 2014-2018 the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) delineates that social and economic aspects of marine science (the human dimension) must be integrated in ICES work. In these fields the ICES currently has none or limited expertise. An ad hoc group was established for drafing a proposal for how to realize the ICES strategic initiative.
