This thesis presents an contemporaneous, in-depth examination of the accounts of eight 13-20 year old children living in Prague and attending three international schools and a French school. With their parents, they had relocated to different countries at least five times. These young people would be referred to as ‘Third Culture Kids’ in much of the literature. An important scientific contribution that the thesis makes, however, is the deconstruction of that term, showing why it should not be taken for granted.
