Aim of the workshop was to share knowledge and develop recommendations for the next CAP period in relation to grassland conservation and role in climate smart farming/ carbon sequestration. This invited presentation describes result-based payments particularly in relation to grasslands and landscapes, key factors in their design, and examples of RBP in Europe and including in the 2023-2027 CAP period. Workshop was part of the project: LANDCARE EUROPE CAPTURES CARBON SUPPORTING NATURAL CLIMATE PROTECTION IN AGRICULTURAL LANDSCAPES November 2023 - March 2026 'This project is part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).’
