Description
During this visit, I collaborated with the NLP group of Omri Abend, planning joint research on translation annotation and alignment. This research was related to my work on manual alignment scheme for most translated literature, and to the Parallel Universal Dependencies Treebanks. Secondly, I learned about the use of Universal Conceptual Cognitive Annotation (UCCA) method developed in this NLP group. The other tasks during the visit included giving an invited talk on my recent graph encoding results to the NLP reading group, networking with local academics and ex-patriots, two journal article reviews, planning and drafting a submission to LT4ALL, and writing a grant application.Period | 10 Dec 2019 → 19 Dec 2019 |
