Michael Chekhov and his work in the West 1828 - 1955 (in Russian)

Description

The TV program in 10 parts deals with the work of the famous Russian actor and teacher of acting Michael Chekhov (1891 - 1955). My research and two books (Letters fom M. Chekhov to M. Doboujinsky, Helsinki 1992, and Michael Chekhov in Western Theatre and Cinema, PhD Diss., St.Petersburg 2000) were used by the author of the series as the material for the emigre period of the actor (1928 - 1955) in the TV program.
