Hanna Poikonen (neuroscientist, contemporary dancer) will defend her PhD dissertation "Dance on Cortex - ERPs and Phase Synchrony in Dancers and Musicians during a Contemporary Dance Piece" (Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki) in May 2018. She has developed a movement concept called WiseMotion which combines dance and neuroscience in a unique way. The WiseMotion masterclasses are internationally available and open for everyone - WiseMotion Experts for professional dancers and dance students, and WiseMotion Explorers for everyday-movers without prior experience in dance.
