    Description

    Laser microdissection microscope is principally used to dissect and collect samples from histological sections and cell cultures, down to one-cell level and even below (but best suited for target size range from tens to thousands of cells). The technique is called laser capture microdissection (LCM). The microscope has a basic epifluorescence equipment or can be used in transmitted light mode. Typical downstream applications are RNA/DNA/protein extractions.
