Animal well-being, sustainable use of natural resources and mitigation of environmental impact are guiding us in developing animal production for future food security. Animal phenotype and genotype analyses are utilizing Big Data methodology.
 
 
Our research is focused on
  • animal product quality,
  • feed preservation and alternative feed sources,
  • nutrition physiology and well-being of farm animals,
  • selection programmes and
  • utilization of genomic information.
