Organisation Profile
We are interested in basic and applied aspects of plant stress responses. We study the basic molecular mechanisms through which light affects the chemical composition and ageing of leaves. Many stress-induced phytochemicals affect the color, flavor and nutritional value of leafy vegetables. We apply this information with industrial partners to forward cultivation in domestic table gardens and vertical farms.
