Diversity in Society and Life (DIVSOL) is a strategic profile building area at the University of Helsinki funded by the Research Council of Finland (2025–2030). 

It forms a multidisciplinary research community dedicated to exploring and understanding ethnic, cultural, linguistic, religious, and socio-ecological diversity from a multitude of perspectives. The community brings together researchers across Faculties of Arts, Biological and Environmental Sciences, Educational Sciences, Law, Science, Social Sciences, Theology, and the Swedish School of Social Science, as well as the Helsinki Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities.
