Description of research and teaching
Alexandra Nordström is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, University of Helsinki. Her research themes include young children’s affect, literacy practices, interaction, multiliteracies pedagogy, and sociocultural and new materialist theories and post-perspectives in educational research. She is a member of the Playful Learning Center and the Learning, Culture and Interventions expert group in the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Helsinki. Alexandra also teaches in the bachelor and master programmes at the Faculty of Educational Sciences. She is currently the JURE coordinator of EARLI SIG 25 - Educational Theory.
