Curriculum vitae
Anita Heim is a PhD student at the Department of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Helsinki. She has been granted a funded doctoral position by the doctoral programme in interdisciplinary environmental sciences (DENVI) in 2016. Her research is focusing on food and nutrition security of indigenous people. In her PhD she is working in Namibia with the Khwe San people inside Bwabwata National Park. In her field research she is combining quantitative and qualitative methodologies from different disciplines with a participatory research approach.
