Sociologist and researcher in history. Book about purches of Finns in the Soviet Union during Stalins time. Ph.D. Dissertation: Deportations, Diaspora and Resistance during Stalin's Time in the Letters and Oral Histories of Ingrian Finns. My multidisciplinary research includes sociology, history, ethnography, and oral history. I have done qualitative, quantitative, and historical research on the topics of ethnic minorities, integration, exclusion, forced migration, stigma, networks, and rehabilitation. I have previously worked on the Finnish Academy project Developing theory and methodology in the study of the effects of discrimination and marginalization. My work experience includes working as a planner in media and communications at the Rehabilitation Foundation.
