Description of research and teaching

Anu Lahtinen (PhD, European Doctorate) is university lecturer in history, presently Professor of Finnish and Nordic History at the University of Helsinki. Her fields of expertise include Nordic history, especially premodern era, and long-term social history and gender history. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Historiallinen aikakauskirja (Historical Journal) http://www.historiallinenaikakauskirja.fi/historical-journal in 2016-2020 and the Chair of the board of Tilaushistoriakeskus (Centre for commissioned history projects) since 2016.
