Personal profile

Description of research and teaching

In my work, I focus on analysing and modelling environmental politics and related decision-making processes as networks of relationships among relevant individuals and organisations. I apply a range of research methods (e.g., network analysis, meta-analysis, discourse analysis, structural equation modelling) to engage in conceptual development and empirical data analysis. I am a member of the Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science.

I hold a PhD in forest economics from the University of Helsinki, Finland. I have published in international cross-disciplinary journals, and I have been involved in case studies not only in Europe, but in Uruguay, Vietnam, Tanzania, and South Africa.
