Curriculum vitae

Dayei Oh is a postdoctoral researcher at the Datafication unit at the Helsinki Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities (HSSH). Dayei holds a BA (First class) in Psychology (Ewha, South Korea), an MA (Distinction) in Media & Communications (Nottingham, UK), and a PhD in Social Sciences funded by the Online Civic Culture CDT (Loughborough, UK). Her research focuses on the intersections of digital technologies, public spheres, and democratic discourse. Methodologically, she is interested in comparative studies and mixed methods research, including computational social science.
