Personal profile

Description of research and teaching

I am a cognitive neuroscientist, lecturer and work as a clinical neuropsychologist from time to time. Specifically, I teach clinically relevant skills to students, give talks for various professionals on learning, development, the brain, but also teach gender and sexuality from psychological viewpoint. In addition, I organize conferences and public events, and I am involved in projects related to scientific outreach and dissemination of scientific knowledge to the general public. As I have degrees in both science and psychology, my scientific work combines programming, digital signal processing and clinical psychology. My research interests lie partly in language, learning and the brain, but also on topics related to clinical neuropsychology. My spare time is mostly spent on dancing.
