Research interests
In my PhD I will (i) study how quantitative resistance and disease tolerance of cultivars could be exploited to reduce the use of fungicides, (ii) evaluate risks of plant diseases when using cover crops, and (iii) study farmers’ decision making to ease adoption of IPM strategies in Finnish farms. Overall, the project will support the health of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems in the agricultural landscape.
