Description of research and teaching

I am an associated clinical researcher at the Medical Neurogenetics lab, Stem Cells and Metabolism Research Program (STEMM). I am also a clinical neurologist and head of the rare neurological diseases program at HUS Helsinki University Hospital. My research work focuses on the molecular mechanisms of motor neuron disease and hereditary peripheral neuropathy.
