Personal profile

Research interests

My current research is primarily focused on develpment of Joint Species Distributon Modelling for enhanced statistical analyisis of ecological communitites. I approach the focal problem from multiple angles and perspectives:

  1. I aim to identify the exisitng demand from ecologists practicing community analysis, structure and formalise it, as well as address it with the prominent solutions based on statistical modelling.
  2. I explore novel statistical and machine learning methods, potentially suitable to address the well-known and arising challenges in Joint Species Distributon Modelling field.
  3. I develop effcicent implementations of such methods that are capable to scale-up by utilizing High Perfomance Computing hardware.
