Personal profile

Description of research and teaching

I work as Senior University Lecturer in Social Psychology at the Faculty of Social Sciences. I teach courses on quantitative research methods and social psychology (e.g. Attitudes, Motivation and Behaviour; Developing Behaviour Change Interventions) particularly in Bachelor’s and Master’s Programmes in Social Research. I am a steering group member of Master's Programme in Human Nutrition and Food-Related Behaviour.

My research focuses on social psychology of eating and health, including behaviour change and the role of psychosocial factors in sociodemographic disparities in diet quality and health. This work is based on large-scale prospective survey and intervention studies, and conducted in collaboration with national and international research groups. Currently, I co-lead Consumers and Society work package in the Leg4Life (Legumes for Sustainable Food System and Healthy Life) project in which we examine how to promote legume use and production in the entire food chain.
