RESEARCH AREAS AND INTERESTS
Heidi Hyytinen, PhD, title of Docent, is Senior Lecturer in Higher Education at the Centre for University Teaching and Learning in University of Helsinki. Heidi's research focuses on generic skills, performance-based assessment, self-regulation, personal epistemology, and pedagogy in higher education. Her current projects are KAPPAS2 (Assessment of Undergraduate Students’ Generic Skills in Finland) project and PIONEERED (Pioneering Policies and Practices Tackling Educational Inequalities in Europe, Horizon 2020) project. Her dissertation was awarded the best of 2015 as an educational dissertation.
