Curriculum vitae

Iida Turpeinen is a doctoral student working on her dissertation ”Negotiating and Challenging Scientific Ways of Knowing in Contemporary Anglo-American Literature”. She works as a part of an interdisciplinary research project “Science, Literature and Research – Avant-Garde Encounters with Biology and Ecology’ that studies the interaction between the natural sciences and avant-gardist literature. She’s a member of the European PhDnet for Literary and Cultural Studies and her thesis is co-supervised between the University of Helsinki and Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen, Germany.
