Description of research and teaching

My research addresses the expanding discussion on the relevance of political emotions in democratic politics and democratic education. It especially focuses on exploring the emphasis on political emotions in recent discussions on identity politics and examines both the tensions and possibilities involved in education for political emotions with respect to constructing and pursuing collective political aims. My doctoral dissertation focuses on Martha Nussbaum’s political philosophy in the context of education.

Currently, I am teaching on two Master's level courses in the Faculty of Educational Sciences: Social Justice and Diversities in Education, and Qualitative Research Approach II
