Description of research and teaching

I am a PhD student, working in the Doctoral Programme in History and Cultural Heritage at the University of Helsinki (4 years salaried PhD position 2016-2019).

My research is focused on the military history of early modern Europe. My PhD thesis concerns military entrepreneurship in the Swedish army during the Ingrian war (1609 - 1617).
