I'm a media and cultural studies scholar currently based in China and Finland. My research interests include media and propaganda in contemporary China, and the politics of Chinese internet countercultures. I have published in Chinese, English and French. I have founded and been leading the Center for Convergent Global Communication (CCGC) at Shenzhen University, a research institution devoted to intercultural communication studies. I started my visiting professorship at the University of Helsinki from January 2022.
