I recently co-edited The Oxford Handbook on Gender and Politics (Oxford University Press, 2013, with Georgina Waylen, Karen Celis and Laurel Weldon). I am also the Editor of Palgrave Macmillan’s hugely successful book series Gender and Politics Book Series with Sarah Childs. My research has appeared in a wide range of international refereed journals including Politics & Gender; International Feminist Journal of Politics; Social Politics; European Journal of Women’s Studies; International Political Science Review; Legislative Studies; Policy & Politics; Gender, Work & Organization; Representation; and British Journal of Politics and International Relations; as well as a number of international edited volumes. My Academy Research Fellow project (2012-2018) is titled "Feminized actors or masculine institutions? Gender, Power and Party Politics in Finland". It provides the first-ever in depth analysis of political parties in Finland from a gender perspective. In addition to my new monograph, Gender and Political Analysis (see above), findings of the project are coming out in 2016 in a special issue of Party Politics that I co-edited with Karen Celis and Sarah Childs (two articles), in Gender, Work & Organization (two articles), and in the book Gender, Politics and the Crisis in Europe (with Emanuela Lombardo, with Palgrave 2017). Four other articles are in the review process.
