  2. Field and automated canopy spectroscopy 
  3. Physiological optics (e.g. Photochemical Reflectance Index)
  4. Physically-based modelling techniques
  • Ecophysiology:
  1. Photosynthesis
  2. BVOCs
  • Modern software and hardware in Environmental Science:
  1. Data science and associated languages (Python numerical stack and R)
  2. Affordable instrumentation development (e.g. RPI) 
  3. Promoting up-to-date software practice (e.g. version control)

I am instructing on "Environmental Data Science" which covers some of the practical aspects of working with data in R and Python. We use Jupyter notebooks for course content which you can find on our lab's github:
