Description of research and teaching

My research focuses on the (legal) ideas and institutions regulating the state-citizen or state-society interactions. As a Political Scientist, I am interested in how these ideas and institutions influence and interact with political actors in policy-making processes. Currently I am finalizing my doctoral research that studies the role of Ombudsman institutions in policy processes. My other research interests include science, technology and innovation policies.

I am affiliated with Ideas and Institutions Research Group and currently working in BRIDPOL research project.
