Description of research and teaching
Olen sosiologian yliopistotutkija ja ohjelmajohtaja. Erikoisalojani ovat tieteen- ja teknologiantutkimus, terveyden ja lääketieteen sosiologia ja tutkimusetiikka. Tutkimushankkeeni liittyvät terveysdatan hyödyntämisen erilaisiin oikeutuksiin, genomitiedon ja tekoälyn käyttöön terveydenhuollossa sekä vastuulliseen ja reiluun teknologiaan. Olen kiinnostunut ihmisten ja politiikan suhteesta teknologiaan ja tiedon tuottamiseen. Olen myös vuorovaikutusvastaava STN:n konsortiossa "Datalukutaito ja vastuullinen päätöksenteko" DataLit, sekä johdan SHIELD-ohjelmaa eli STN:n rahoittamaa kokonaisuutta "Turvallisuus ja luottamus algoritmien aikakaudella".
