Personal profile

Research interests

I work at the intersections of world politics, economics, and philosophy. My prospective doctoral dissertation on the promises and limitations of national macroeconomic governance was awarded the University of Pavia's Supranational Political Economy PhD Thesis Prize in 2020. My earlier master's thesis on a related topic won the Finnish Political Science Association's Award for the Best Master's Thesis in Political Science in Finland in 2015–2016.

Education information

I hold M.A. and B.A. degrees in World Politics (with specialisations in Global Political Economy and Global Governance) and a further degree in Theoretical Philosophy (with a substantial minor in Economics) from the University of Helsinki. In addition, I have studied or conducted research at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Universidad Nacional de General San Martín in Buenos Aires, and the University of Cambridge.
