Research interests
I specialize in the kinetic physics of particles in space plasmas. My thesis was on the motion of suprathermal electrons in the solar wind, and in my previous postdoc I studied electric fields in the Martian magnetosheath. Currently I am working in the Vlasiator group at UH to assess the impact of solar storms on infrastructure (e.g. power grids) on Earth and in space.
