Description of research and teaching
The main areas of my research are political philosophy, especially the philosophy of democracy and critical social theory (comprising both Frankfurt-school style post-structuralist and others).
I teach and supervise philosophy of democracy, critical social theory, cosmopolitan political philosophy, general and continental political philosophy, various continental fields of philosophy such as phenomenology, existentialism, hermeneutics, deconstruction and Foucault.
