Kristiina Janhonen, PhD, currently works as a Senior Researcher at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare.

Her previous research work is directed to food education; adolescents’ food related learning at the intersection of informal and institutional contexts; understanding young people’s food practices through qualitative and quantitative methods; development of participatory research; and school mealtimes.
