Publications: 76 peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals (Web of Science H-index = 28;  Google Scholar H-index: 32, Sep 2023). Total number of citations in Web of Science >2500.

Main scientific contribution: My research focuses on urban climate, air pollution and greenhouse gases using a wide range of theoretical and experimental methods. I use the eddy covariance technique to measure urban surface exchange of atmospheric pollutants, GHGs, energy and water, and develop urban land surface models and large eddy simulation models to better consider urban surface and its variability. I generate solutions how urban air quality and climate could be improved and greenhouse gas emissions decreased.

Supervision of graduate students and postdoctoral researchers: 7 postdocs, 12 PhD students, 17 undergraduate students

Current teaching activities: Basics of Climatology (2 ECTS); Physical Climatology (3 ECTS); Urban Climate (5 ECTS); Atmospheric and Earth Sciences Today

Awards and honours: Timothy Oke Award 2021, International Association for Urban Climate (IAUC)
