Publications and presentations: I have 51 peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals (Web of Science H-index = 22;  Google Scholar H-index: 24, May 2020). My total number of citations in Web of Science is >1370 (>1150 without self-citations). I have given several oral and poster presentations at international scientific conferences.

Main scientific contribution: My area of expertise is urban meteorology using a wide range of theoretical and experimental state-of-the-art methods. I have worked with surface exchange of atmospheric pollutants, greenhouse gases, energy and water above urban areas using the eddy covariance technique. I have shown how the different surface exchanges depend on urban land cover, and how they should be parameterised in hydrological and surface urban energy balance models in urban areas. I am also one of the main developers of the Surface Urban Energy and Water balance Scheme (SUEWS). In my group we also develop and utilise large eddy simulations (LES) with particular emphasis on how it can be used to support urban planning.
