Personal profile

Description of research and teaching

Focus in my research and teaching is on statistical methods, especially on Bayesian methods. My current position is in REC (Research Centre for Ecological Change) where my aim is to develop statistical and computational methods for analyzing large and heterogeneous ecological data. Previously I worked in the project where we did computational modelling of Clostridium botulinum toxin production. My previous work also includes using Bayesian methods to analyze and reconstruct past climatic and environmental variables (mainly during Holocene).
