Description of research and teaching

A PhD student in History and Cultural Heritage, my dissertation topic regards the negative images of Nordic countries in video games and Nordic noir literature, and how these images are used and can influence the perceived image of the region.

I was elected as student representative, Nordic languages mentor and international students’ language partner for the Nordic Department at the University of Caen (2010-2012).

During my Erasmus exchange at Åbo Akademi, I taught and mentored Swedish-speaking students in French (2012-2013), and later used that experience to serve as a language partner within the ALICE program at the University of Helsinki (2017).
