Description of research and teaching

I am professor in sensory food science. I am also alumni of Monell Chemical Senses Center (USA) and University of Turku. Sandell lab is also called as Senses and Food research team in Finland. I have a certificated qualification in University teaching pedagogy (60 cr) and in Academic leadership program.  

The Polak Young Investigator Award (2006), Academy of Finland award for Social impact (2012) Docent of a Year (2017, University of Turku & Åbo Akademi)

Description of research and teaching

Professor in sensory food science and team leader of Senses and Food. University teacher since 1997 and sertificated (university pedagogics 60 credits). I have Supervised many thesis and degree (B.Sc, M.Sc., PhD.). Research network is both national and global. Active in societal interaction with stakeholders, general public, and media.
