Personal profile

Description of research and teaching

I investigate how cooperation expands into inter-professional collaboration, polycontextual knowledge creation and a figured world of its own in learning networks crossing professional, organisational and municipality boundaries. The context is a forum for professional development in welfare services and deals with family mediation work. I combine expansive learning theory and cultural-historical activity theory with social work practice research. The study augments from a broader perspective both theory building and the development of work practices in diverse contexts. It links to the fields of knowledge production in social work and enhancing social work expertise. My overarching interest is to contribute to the understanding of processes that enables inter-professional collaboration.
