Description of research and teaching
Docent of Classical Philology. Researching ancient philosophy and medicine. Fascinated by the past ideas of health and wellbeing (especially mental health and sexual health) and of the many (and sometimes curious) ways to attain them. Currently funded by the Kone Foundation in a project exploring ancient philosophical and medical thinking on health, illness and human fragility.
