Description of research and teaching
My research area is mathematics education, more specifically the role of affective factors and non-routine problem solving.
In 2016 I received a four-year research grant from the Academy of Finland for a mobile eye-tracking research project. In this project we study the dynamics of teacher and student gaze when students are engaged in collaborative non-routine problem solving.
