Description of research and teaching

A lecturer in several fields since 2006, designing and teaching several new courses on all levels of teaching (bachelor, master, doctoral), as well as designing and scoring literature exams. I have also supervised several PhD and Master and Bachelor theses in varied fields, and graded several theses. I have been active in teaching in the following fields: Latin American Studies, Political Science, Development Studies, Bioethics, Intercultural Encounters, Forestry, and general Social Sciences and Environmental and Agricultural Sciences.

Examples of courses given: Development Studies and Social Science PhD seminars on Environmental Politics and Economics; Political Science BA-level methodology course on Qualitative Comparative Analysis; MA-level lecture-course on Power Relations in Brazil. Several courses in Development Studies: e.g. Theories of Development, Gender and Development, Master thesis seminars, My Methodological Paths, Political Ecology and Resource Politics, Environment and Politics, Contemporary Societies Seminar, and others.
