Personal profile

Description of research and teaching

My research interests focus on marine ecosystem changes particularly related to sea ice and terrestrial inputs. I study the high-latitude coastal regions from seasonal to millenial time scales using e.g. dinoflagellate cysts, sea-ice derived biomarkers and organic biogeochemical indicators. I also work to develop the reconstruction methods in arctic and northern near-shore environments.
