Research interests

My research is at the intersection of data management and machine learning (ML), including: optimization of ML pipelines (KBS2024, MAKE2022), ML model management and materialization (ICDE2021, EDBT2022), instance-optimal indexing (EDBT2024, AIDB@VLDB2022), graph processing (WSDM2023, VLDB2022), data summarization and model sketching (SDM2023, ICDE2022, CIKM2022, WWW2021, PODS2021). I'm also interested in developing computational techniques for other domains (DSA2025, WWW2022).

Curriculum vitae

Before Helsinki, I taught at INSA Lyon for one semester (2017) and spent four years (2013-2017) as a postdoctoral researcher at Aalto University. I completed my doctoral studies at the University of Toronto (2013) and my diploma in engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (2006).
