Curriculum vitae
Miikka is a Doctoral Researcher in law at the Erik Castrén Institute of International Law and Human Rights, University of Helsinki. In his PhD dissertation “To Rein in Big Tech": Power and Constraint in the EU Legal Governance of Online Platforms, he is examining the European Union’s past and ongoing endeavors to govern social media and other online platforms. His research interests include law and digitalisation, data protection law, EU law, and legal theory.
