Curriculum vitae

I received my DVM degree from Urmia University, Iran in 2006. Then, I started my residency program in small animal internal medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tehran, Iran. I trained for four years at the highest-rated small animal hospital in Iran to complete my specialization. After completing my residency, I began my career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Studies, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Tabriz University. I was also the co-founder of Pasteur Small Animal Clinic which opened its door in January 2012. This clinic became a well-respected veterinary practice, driven by service and excellence. In 2011, I joined the FIN-SAGAS research group of Professor Thomas Spillmann at the University of Helsinki as a PhD student to perform research in canine chronic enteropathies with international collaboration. Since 2019, with cooperation of Orion Pharma, as a principal investigator, I am conducting a clinical trial to investigate the effects of fecal microbiota transplantation on dogs with tylosin responsive diarrhea. I have authored or co-authored more than 30 scientific publications.
